Around 100 leading NGO representatives, researchers and politicians gathered today at Parliament House, Canberra, for a landmark workshop to advance the idea of a National Action Plan for Children and Young People. The meeting, initiated by the Australian Research Alliance for Children and Youth, supported the idea of developing a National Plan which would be a whole-of-nation initiative with aims to halt and begin to reverse the decline in many aspects of child and youth wellbeing.
